Revelations
This painting is about the journey and the process—that teaches us the lessons we are meant to learn. Throughout the multiple layers, some were washed away while other partially dried layers were peeled down—revealing what was underneath. It is attempting to convey the feeling of years passing, full of experience and lessons—giving way to a revelation that it was about the journey, all along.
Bold, textured black brush strokes peek through predominately rose gold swirls of paint. Three bright white rays of light seem to pierce through the swirls.
